Data Analytics
In the era of big and bigger data, companies are using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning to better “crunch the data” and get useful outcomes. In the Workshop we will explore how companies big and small are approaching AI and the practical applications for it.

Digital Transformation
Senior leadership must respond to an ever-changing digital world in order to better engage their customers while simultaneously reducing costs and improving their top line. The Workshop will explore opportunities to use new channels to reach customers as well as ways that companies are monetizing their current digital assets.

Future of Innovation
How much innovation in IT is really taking place in companies? How do CIOs and other stimulate innovation within their IT units? This Workshop will explore the answer to these questions and also identify some best practices for participants to learn from.

Cyber Hygiene and Incident Response
Despite continuing news about hacks and ransom attacks, many employees are still not practicing good Cyber Hygiene. The Workshop will explore immediately actionable steps that can be used to better your company’s cyber environment as well as what to do when the inevitable happens.

Bi-Modal IT
Is Bimodal IT here to stay or a passing fad? What are some of the efficiencies that can be driven through this approach? How does the CIO identify and adapt the innovations necessary for this approach to work? We will be exploring all these questions in the Workshop.

Moving to the Cloud
What are the advantages of moving my company’s data to the cloud versus our own data center or a co-located data center? In this age of enhanced cyber risk, is one a more secure solution over the other? This Workshop will explore the options.

Communicating Security Focus to Board and Others
Boards of Directors are getting increasingly interested in a company’s cybersecurity policy and practice as we are constantly bombarded with news about the latest cyber attack. CIOs need to communicate clearly what the Security Focus of the company is to the Board, while at the same time insuring that best practices for security are being carried out within the Company. We will have a panel of CIOs discussing this unique role and how best to manage, both up and down.

Talent Pipeline
Many Connecticut companies struggle to recruit and keep employees with sought-after technical skills. This panel discussion will provide insights from leaders of some of our state’s largest and most innovative organizations on how they have addressed these challenges.

Don't forget to join us after the panels for our complimentary networking cocktail reception!
