As Kyber Security’s Client Solutions Coordinator, Ethan Anthony helps ensure clients receive the support, communication, and attention they need to succeed. Although he’s only been with Kyber for a few months, he’s already made a strong impression through his positive attitude, willingness to learn, and focus on building meaningful client relationships.
Since joining the team, Ethan has embraced the opportunity to connect with clients on a daily basis. One of his biggest accomplishments so far has been developing rapport with clients and gaining a deeper understanding of their workflows and business needs. As he continues to grow in his role, he remains focused on strengthening those relationships and helping clients get the most value from their partnership with Kyber.
Thoughts on the Team and Culture
For Ethan, one of the best parts of working at Kyber has been the people.
“I really find personal value in the team,” he says. “Getting to know everyone and being welcomed by a close-knit community has been so much fun. Someone is always ready for a laugh, even on a Monday morning!”
As one of the newer members of the team, Ethan has appreciated how willing everyone is to help. Whether it’s answering questions, sharing knowledge, or offering guidance, he has found the experience and support of the team invaluable.
“I find a lot of value in the experience of the team. If I have a question, no matter who I may ask, they will either have the answer or know how to find the answer.”
When asked who inspires him most within the company, Ethan points to several team members who have helped shape his experience so far: Laurie for her extensive knowledge and work ethic, Jeremy for his optimism, and Robert for his direction and leadership.
Lessons Learned & Professional Growth
One lesson Ethan carries with him every day is a personal mantra:
“Pressure makes diamonds.”
Whenever he’s faced with a new challenge or a complicated task, he reminds himself that growth often comes with discomfort. For Ethan, perseverance becomes most important when things start getting difficult.
The transition into his current role came with its own learning curve. Moving from on-site technician work into a more structured and routine position required a different mindset and skill set. Fortunately, the support of the Kyber team helped make that transition much smoother.
“With the assistance of everyone on the team, I was able to quickly learn and catch up,” he says.
That willingness to learn, adapt, and lean on the experience of others has allowed Ethan to build confidence quickly while continuing to develop professionally.
Outside the Office
When he’s not working, Ethan enjoys spending time outdoors whenever possible. Hiking and camping are among his favorite activities, and if he weren’t working in technology, he jokes that he’d probably be doing those things full-time.
“I love being outside and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life,” he says.
Ethan also enjoys tinkering with his 3D printer. Whether he’s creating replacement parts for household repairs or printing toys for his nephews, he enjoys finding practical and creative ways to put the technology to use.
A fun fact many people may not know about Ethan is that he’s a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings. It’s his favorite franchise of all time, and visiting New Zealand—the filming location for much of Middle-earth—remains a lifelong dream.
And if he could have any superpower?
“Teleportation,” he says. “There are so many awesome places on this planet, but they’re all so far away. Instantaneous—and free—travel would solve that problem.”
For someone who loves exploring, it’s hard to argue with that choice.
