Employee Spotlight: Robert Kozar

Meet Robert Kozar, part of our service delivery team. Robert describes his role as being the “Air Traffic Controller” of tickets and service delivery. Much like air traffic control, he makes sure tickets are routed to the right destination and resolved in the proper order.

Thoughts on the Team and Culture

Robert’s favorite part of working at Kyber is the people and their dedication to clients. He’s seen countless examples of teammates going above and beyond. He also appreciates how Kyber’s Core Values align with his own—especially “We Before Me,” the relentless pursuit of excellence, and continuous improvement.

“The operational aspect of our dispatch process is set up to be the most efficient and streamlined support structure,” Robert explains. “That uniqueness really helps us deliver excellent service.”

Lessons Learned and Professional Growth

Over the course of his career, Robert has learned the importance of listening before acting and showing empathy. “You really have to put yourself in the client’s shoes,” he says. “At the end of the day, all they want is to have their issue resolved so they can do their work and go home. Following up is also incredibly important.”

At Kyber, Robert has had the opportunity to work on major projects and see them through to completion. He felt part of the team from day one, which helped him quickly grow into his role. He also draws daily inspiration from colleagues who stay late or step in to help others, ensuring that every client’s needs are met.

If he weren’t working in IT and service delivery, Robert says he would likely be a teacher, as he enjoys mentoring and sharing knowledge with others.

Outside the Office

When he’s not managing service delivery, Robert loves spending time outdoors, especially hiking. He seeks out “off the beaten path” trails where he can escape the crowds and connect with nature, believing that physical well-being supports mental well-being.

A fun fact many people don’t know? Robert was an Air Traffic Controller in the Air Force, working at one of the busiest control centers at McGuire AFB in Wrightstown, New Jersey.

If he could choose a superpower, Robert would pick flight: “Seeing the world from a different perspective would be amazing.”
